Local Organic Food

at Historical Architecture

Our dining area at Iroriya Senju has  unique atmosphere, and it is above all impressive. The asset was built in circa 1900.

We have a room and a connecting room which accommodate up to 14 guests.

The asset used to be used as a hotel, which the pilgrims of Buddhism stayed at until 50 years ago. When you sit on Tatami, you can fully relax and enjoy quietness.

All the ingredients are organic. We visit each farm and check the products and soil as well.

 Appealing to the health conscious,
food is made without artificial ingredients.  All the dishes are contained Japanese traditional fermented products which are well known for healthy food such as Miso, which takes 3 years to make natural Miso. Although Artificial one takes only 3 months to be made. Efficiency is not worth for us at all.

We serve local desert called "Onimanju", which is available only in this Area. It is a very simple desert made from only sweet potato, flour, and sugar. Oni means "devil" as the appearance of the diced sweet potato.
